I built my system and got AMD because it was cheaper. And i'm getting great results, just not from those "The way its meant to be played" games, at least not on launch. It's why i'm going to hold off on getting the Metro Redux and FarCry 4

No its not. Its also giving gamers the false impression that AMD cards aren't good. I can run practically anything on ultra at 1080p 60fps on a radeon 7970. AMD is fine, its just that Nvidia is throttling games so they perform better on an Nvidia card. Its ridiculous.
