Anybody with an internet access can publish an game and people has done so for decades.
Problem with Steam as an portal is that it get overflowed with junk.
Better filtering would help, it don’t matter if its mostly junk if the junk is hidden :)

Have bought two early access games, Mount & Blade and Kerbal space program who was amazing.
However both had an demo and the game as I bought it was worth the money in the state it was.

A very good point, buying an in game pack in hope of rare good stuff for real money is a lottery and should be regulated as so.

Rare drop from enemies is an game mechanism and not an issue
nor buying stuff for money in games.

Case is pretty irrelevant as they are are not selling games on steam anymore :)
They have far bigger problems now.

And because of this case far more know they are total assholes.
More than an steam group could ever hope to do.

Have they ever heard about the Streisand effect?
Load fatman with mirv, aim at foot, continue shooting

How long do you seriously think they stay on steam if they drag valve of to court?

In Europe its standard that the looser pay the winners fee.
Not used in all cases and is part of the ruling.
In this case it would be used if it was not turned down.

If they try to sue Steam to get the user information this is an very likely outcome.

Yes, you block user id not name.

I also found the animal stage pretty fun. Then the tribal, city stage not so much, main problem with the galactic one was you had one ship who should do anything including local defense.
