Its because they know people wont buy the shooting brake/wagon porche wants to build, so they give it the all road treatment make it look marginally like an CUV and boom, they’ve tricked americans into buying wagons again.

I want to say the 997.2 turbo had an air bladder for its chin spoiler that inflated at speed and deflated for clearance.

AND crocodile Dundee.

Smart dealers. A lot of the truck dealers in FL do this, have 5 or so in house modified trucks sitting on the lot, bigger wheel and tire packages, lifts, bumpers etc to capture that buyer.

its a performance badge at the end of the day, but really it should be wilderness...by STi. That said, safari all the things, and if they can add some visual muscle to the outback then you can capture those “want a raptor but the wife says I need something practical” types.

It depends, if charging infrastructure gets down to the speed of a fill up, or sub 10 min, then 300 miles is enough. factor in that most fast charges are advertised up to 80% ideally i’d like something with ~350 mi. IF we’re talking current infrastructure, 400+ this way you’re not compelled to have to take a full

2nd gen FTW, those thin A pillars meant the world for visibility.

I feel like from a content perspective, theres a lot you could do here. The US knows only slightly the awesomeness of the land cruiser, and the lexus is often overlooked as an expensive luxo barge on its last legs, when underneath its bomb proof and capable off road. I say expense it, strip it down, and make a nice

Mazda3 is far too heavy to be made fun with a motorcycle engine.

Have you seen Inside Line- A season with Erebus? Its quite good.

Aside from the engineering appreciation, its also a ton of marketing. Rolex, Tag, Hublot, etc have always attached themselves to racing, and as an automotive enthusiast, why wouldnt you want to strap on a watch that at one point in its life was a staple on everyones wrist on the grid.

I’ll own an e46 m3 until I can no longer fuel it. I’ve owned two and I keep coming back to them.

Super weird... but I wont buy a car without some form of locking/Limited slip differential, open differentials in performance cars really irritates me.

I, (like everyone believes they are) am the best driver, and everyone else is terrible.

Now playing

I would HIGHLY recommend you check out Inside Line- A season with erebus motorsport. While it doesn’t offer the multi team multi storyline as Drive to survive, it is done really well, offers a great perspective of both driver and team challenges, and if anything its more real than F1 because every response isnt

Yes, looks like something Subaru would do, which is fine on a 40k boy racer, not so much on an m5.

At that cost... people always say something along the lines of “ It better cup my balls for $140k!”   well it looks like BMW thought of that too.

At least it weighs less than a hellcat?

still one of my favorite commercials to this day. My in-laws are all chiefs fans, so every opportunity I get I throw ‘em a solid “Go Chefs”. HOW they didn’t remake the commercial for last years superbowl was a massive missed opportunity.

the pricing discrepancy happens with just about every enthusiast car, m3's, subarus, evos etc. If its too far out of what KBB arbitrarily says the value is then FB wont allow you to post it for that price.
