Anything from Boston Dynamics. Big dog, the human one, the sand flea, the cheetah, all of them are bizzare, incredibly capable, and the designers are some of the most approachable people outhere.

It took me a while to locate this one, so it better make the list!!! This is by far the most ambitious design I have seen within the industry. For the past 3 years they have not even had a model to display, and have just handed out their poorly done cgi pamphlet.

Another odd one is the Drone America Ariel. Great idea behind the design, its a scooper for fire fighting. Its a big SOB and uses engines my company supplied.

By Far the Oddest drone I have encountered in my 5 years in the industry is the Snowgoose. Its a genius design actually, has a ton of pay load, and is designed to deliver that payload quickly and easily, but boy does it look goofy.

Thats how nissan did it with the 370z.

The guy is really humble too, I follow him on Instagram (far less followers than he should have!) and commented about how he has the best job in the world. He replied nicely stating that he was eternally grateful to have such a great job and work for such an awesome company.

Seeing it against a car is a little disappointing, watching how effortlessly the car does it versus the truck.
