Pet peeve: when people use "CGI" to describe Computer Graphics. What does the I stand for in what you're referring to? NOTHING. CGI is a web server specification, and stands for "Common Gateway Interface." The term you want is CG. #corrections

Just upgrade to the impending Nokia Lumia 920; you'll get Nokia Transit - an incredible public transportation app, and you'll have your choice of Google, Bing, and Nokia map apps.

Which apps are you lacking? I've been on WP7 for a year now from an iPhone4 and I missed a couple games for a little while - but nothing I actually needed was lacking in the WP7 environment. I wouldn't consider myself a turbo-power user though. Just a normal person.

I agree completely

Wow. I used to just use spray adhesive. I guess we weren't creative enough in the 90s.

Maybe they put it in at an angle to help corner balance it, and lower the center of gravity... I hope there's duct tape in that engine bay somewhere!!

Praise jebus they were on a straight! Well held together y'all. Awesome.

"It would only be remembered as Delorean's failed dream and only by auto enthusiasts, most people wouldn't even know it existed."

It may be controversial, but I'm going to say Back to the Future and the Delorean. I love the Delorean DMC-12. I think it is a car with beauty and intrigue and a story enough to stand on its own. All of the stupid associations with BTTF (though the film series is a wonderful one) in my opinion lessen the mystique

The torque steer on my build was dangerously severe. It was not competitive due to the issue, and it wasn't even fun to punch it on the highway to impress your friends, as it would yank you into the adjacent lane. Check out the beginning of the attached hillclimb video; I spent 2 years trying to solve it and

Yeah that is not an excuse for taking pictures this awful. Plenty of amateur photographers could have done better with their iPhones. I am not exaggerating.

I love spotify. I love the high quality 320kbps Ogg Vorbis that they stream (when you pay) and I love how easy it is to jump from artist to artist and learn about new stuff. I think their desktop client (OSX) is spectacular, and they have great WP7 and iPhone apps. I think they are awesome.

I use WP7, and the integration with google calendars, contacts, mail, etc is spectacular. You will not be disappointed.

Honestly, the reason I think this is all OK is that Microsoft didn't bet on Mobile being a big deal a couple years ago. They obviously lost that bet, made an interim short sighted, but brilliant solution in the form of WP7, realized they needed to start fresh and combine EVERYTHING with their spectacular innovation,

I first noticed this "feature" on [icloud.com] - if you go there without being logged in, the login window has the same sheen which reacts mouse movement. Using the tilt event is genius though. Love it.

Doesn't it feel good to consider 16 pounds tiny? :) Ours is 3 and a half now, and just barely getting on the height scale. He's the size of the 2 year olds at his daycare, but makes up for his size with personality.

Ah, I didn't see that last sentence which mentioned they plan on making an at-home model.

Nice try.
