It's possible that they flew in, intending to stay for a while, and took their plates with them to apply them to whatever cheap crappy car they buy when they arrive. I'm pretty sure that's legal if you inform your insurer, who can inform the DMV or whatever. Saves you money registering multiple vehicles temporarily.

I don't understand how this would benefit me because I only have one phone. I don't use the phone at work, I have not had a land line in years, and everybody has my 7 year old cell number. And that cell phone is the only phone I have.
