I think Sony made a good decision to pass on exclusive content for AC Unity. I mean it just looks like a huge step back for the franchise to go from AC4 and being a pirate and the awesome sailing to go back to being a guy in Europe again.

I'm a PS4 owner and i was hoping Microsoft would show me something that would make me seriously consider getting an Xbox. But they didn't, Sunset Overdrive and Halo are the only games they have coming i would get on PS4. I thought they would show a new IP that would make me super jealous but no. I give them a C-.
This is kinda a sad, since it feels like the death of Kinect as a gaming device. Personally I've always hated it, but I was willing to be won over if they could deliver on its potential.
Oh i understand what your saying, i just disagree. I don't think it was ever implied at all. While there are missions that involve shooting, most do not, and in fact most involve a lot more stealth than shooting. Most of the time when i end up in a shoot out, its cause i failed at stealth. If anything was…
I totally agree there, the story is full of cliches and stereotypes. I would say its by far the biggest flaw in the game over all. That and how generic Aiden is a protagonist. Maybe they felt the need to go middle of the road with it since it is a new IP. But I hope with Watch Dogs 2 they show a little more…
Yes but gun fights were in the trailers, it was obvious they would be in the game and play a prominent role. Now i can understand if you would prefer they didn't, but it was never hidden or implied that gun play wouldn't be in the game or you could avoid it.
I'm also a minority and while i do wish Black people were better represented in a lot of games, i really don't have a problem with how it is in Watch Dogs. It makes sense for the story, and as long as it does I see no reason to have a problem with it.
What nuance and intelligence from the first trailers. The game plays almost exactly like it was shown in the debut trailer. In the debut, he sneaks into a club using a jamming tool, uses the profiler to find someone, hacks the streetlights to cause a traffic accident, then proceeds to have a shoot out. All those…
I could "Git gud", or play games that are actually fun to play.
No they were cheap, and very early in both games when i was still learning the mechanics. In Demon Souls i got one shot by an enemy on a bridge. He attacked I blocked, but for some reason my blocking his attacked stunned me, and he killed me in one attack. I never played it again after that. In Dark Souls, i was…
Now this is the exact opposite of how i felt when i played Demon and Dark Souls. Though i only played both for a very short time cause i kept dying cheap deaths and the combat felt incredibly slow and clunky. Dragon's Dogma has a much faster, smoother, and more fluid combat system and i played that game a ton. Even…
Watching someone beat the same game i did using speed and skill I never thought possible to over come the challenges is why speed runs are awesome. However, seeing someone us an exploit to skip all those challenges just to beat it faster just feels like cheating to me.
Rep system is about how you public actions are perceived. No one knows you stole that money or that gang member is an undercover cop. Those action have no effect on your reputation.
FFVI had a similar effect on me when i played it. I wasn't totally new to the genre as i had played FFIV before but that just made me more excited to play it. The game is outstanding and definitely the best FF game of all times in my opinion. The Opera scene is something that is just outstanding and it showed me…
I'm more excited for the things they are trying then for the games themselves. Though i'll probably get both of them eventually. Things do change but its in small steps not huge ones. The new things of games having single player being mixed with multiplayer wasn't around few years ago. I hoping if either of these…
Problem with Kinect isn't the idea, but the execution. They never delivered on its potential and people didn't want to be forced to pay for it. If Microsoft delivered a killer app for it, people love it.
Yep, its what the game industry has fallen too. When most games coming out are sequels, it good some new game IPs that are maybe taking old ideas but atleast in some new directions.
I see it as atleast an effort in the right direction, whether they pull it off or not we don't know. Will these systems revolutionize gaming? I doubt it, but atleast its better than in a lot of these open world games where they're full of people but the people are more decorations than anything else.
This game and Watch Dogs give me hope for the future of gaming. The Nemesis system with it enemies changing according to your actions. Watch Dogs with the ability to hack any npc's life. These are the kinds of things i want more in games.
Depends on the friend. If they're patient like me then go ahead and get one. Buying a console earl y is a long term investment. I got mine at launch cause i wanted better versions of multiplatforms i'd normally get on PS3 and not having a huge library didn't matter to me only on since i have my PC and PS3 still to…
