Lady Dynamite had a fake boss baby show as a one-off gag. Nothing will convince me that it wasn’t the inspiration for the movie.

As I didn’t know who voiced the boss baby, I assumed the header was a projection of what an adult boss baby would look like. Pretty accurate, I think.

Casting Paul Rudd was a particularly brilliant cruelty.

A friend of mine was binging his films shortly after his death. I tried to warn him that this one and The Fisher King would be too painful to watch so soon. He did not listen.

I learned about this movie here, on an incredibly similar list to this one. Still haven’t wracked up the nerve to watch it.

I personally don’t know anybody who is going to a movie theater right now. I do know plenty who have been going to drive-ins. I don’t know about the rest of the country but they’ve made a huge resurgence here in New England. I know it’s still not the “pure” theater experience, but also, fuck you if that’s more
