A friend of mine was binging his films shortly after his death. I tried to warn him that this one and The Fisher King would be too painful to watch so soon. He did not listen.

I learned about this movie here, on an incredibly similar list to this one. Still haven’t wracked up the nerve to watch it.

Spoonbread!

I would like to believe it’s at least half, but that’s probably too optimistic.

I personally don’t know anybody who is going to a movie theater right now. I do know plenty who have been going to drive-ins. I don’t know about the rest of the country but they’ve made a huge resurgence here in New England. I know it’s still not the “pure” theater experience, but also, fuck you if that’s more

Purchasing Ben and Jerrys products is one of the few remaining ethical forms of consumption under capitalism.

The jacket flip is easy easy enough. It’s making it look good that’s the challenge.

“Apologies, Mr. Neeson, but the role has been...taken.”

The Liam Neeson role went to the bear.

It’s nice that he admits to thriving right now without also expressing guilt over it. This year has been really good to me, personally, but outside of an anonymous forum like this I’ll never admit it.

Yeah, this is cool and all, but to say it’s fighting food waste is quite the stretch.

Lambics, too. A nice raspberry lambic with a scoop of vanilla is heavenly.

Jesus Christ that’s bad.

Character actress Margo Martindale, for sure

David Duchovny talked about it on one of the late shows in the 90s, and to this day I sing along with it every time. This is nice, but it’s not going to replace the original lyrics.

He’s also in Spinal Tap, and most(all?) of Christopher Guest’s movies.

He’s also Regular Sized Rudy on Bob’s Burgers, which is just wonderful. I’ve been a fan of his since Radio Free Rosco(anyone?), so I’m always happy to see him pop up. People of Earth deserved better.

I was in my twenties the first time I saw it, and I was more than a little upset, so, I’m gonna second this.

Wild, man. I don’t think I’ve watched more than the first episode.
