You are right. I keep forgetting about the RLX, but everyone does. Too bad, it’s a good car. When I was told that blurb by a friend at one of the training centers, it was 2013, just before the RLX came out.

I got mine from a dealer who GAVE theirs away. It had been on their lot for over 90 days. They couldn’t sell it because it was a stick. Less than 2 years old, 19K, and $23K. Less than half when new. Best car I’ve ever owned.
The SH-AWD Acura TL with a manual had the largest and most powerful engine in a Honda product until the new NSX. The J37 was also used in the RL, MDX, and ZDX, but the implementation of VTEC on the exhaust side as well as revised fuel maps to be used with a manual transmission gave it 307 BHP and 273 lb/ft. The…
This! I worked in dealers for a while. The really troublesome cars with strange random problems that seems to take a while were the ones that I got. To be fair, we had a team system in place. But I was always taking cars home or around to drive for extended periods. And we ALWAYS prefaced the circumstances with…
One of my friends from university lives outside of Carrollton. When I would come home to visit, I would take a trip up to see him. Route 43 out of Steubenville up past Carrollton. Long winding roads at 55 speed limit, oh yeah.
My farm was on Route 88 in Sherrard, about 5 (?) miles from the US 250 junction. I used to blast 250 hard going into Moundsville. That’s how I learned to race road courses. Fun times.
Where I grew up in the Upper Ohio Valley, bullshit like this is all too common. All the wells going up to extract natural gas from shale needs superloads like these. But the roads are nowhere near that straight. Imagine trying to get that damn thing up a winding mountain road that could double as a rally track.
Given that the high water mark for badass Trek fights will ALWAYS be DS9 featuring the “USS Ben Sisko’s Motherfuckin Pimp Hand”, I will admit it was amazing. With the massive space battle in The Orville earlier, this is a good year in pew pew space battles.
Corpus Christi or Miami.
Make like a tree and get outta here!
Please tell me they have rectified the AC evaporator issue. That right there stopped me from consideration. When the part is sealed as effective as a screen door on a submarine AND they have a tendency to go on intergalactic backorder, that stops it. Especially since we are likely to be stationed just outside Satan’s…
Este fue uno de los mejores artículos escritos sobre Chernobyl. La mayoría no incluye el envenenamiento por xenón, que es una parte crítica fundamental del accidente. He estudiado Chernobyl durante años. Buen trabajo en presentar los hechos en una progresión lógica.
I used to work there. Assistant parts manager. I clicked on this thinking it would be hilarious if Palmer’s was that dealer. Time to go buy a lottery ticket.
Back in the day, GM had some crazy prototypes in their Skunk Works facility. The four wheel steering IROC-Z Camaro, V8 Beretta, and (my favorite) the twin engine “Push Me/ Pull Me” twin engine Citation.
Both license plates at present, previous plates used (Florida switches out plate numbers every few years), driver license number, former license number from home state, VINs from present vehicles, and VINs from previously owned cars. All memorized.
Perfect anti theft features. Repulsive crossover that is a stick.
I confess. I love the ZDX, but only the Advance trim models. I had one as my company car. That weird coupe thing was surprisingly fun as a vehicle. Biggest drawback is all the massive blind areas it has. Granted, those are rectified with Blind Spot Detection that comes in the Advance trim. Add that to the aircon seats…
After she’s done beating my ass.
I need to know EVERYTHING. Especially since I’ll probably be buying one shortly, when the wife makes Chief Petty Officer.
Uh huh. I’ve been in three MVC. All three were the fault of the other driver. All three had no insurance (or pathetically little to the point we will just say none). Two of those totaled my vehicles. One of those saddled me with a hospital bill more than the mortgage of my house (over $200k). Since this was Florida, I…
