Please tell me they have rectified the AC evaporator issue. That right there stopped me from consideration. When the part is sealed as effective as a screen door on a submarine AND they have a tendency to go on intergalactic backorder, that stops it. Especially since we are likely to be stationed just outside Satan’s

Este fue uno de los mejores artículos escritos sobre Chernobyl. La mayoría no incluye el envenenamiento por xenón, que es una parte crítica fundamental del accidente. He estudiado Chernobyl durante años. Buen trabajo en presentar los hechos en una progresión lógica.

I used to work there. Assistant parts manager. I clicked on this thinking it would be hilarious if Palmer’s was that dealer. Time to go buy a lottery ticket.

Back in the day, GM had some crazy prototypes in their Skunk Works facility. The four wheel steering IROC-Z Camaro, V8 Beretta, and (my favorite) the twin engine “Push Me/ Pull Me” twin engine Citation.

Both license plates at present, previous plates used (Florida switches out plate numbers every few years), driver license number, former license number from home state, VINs from present vehicles, and VINs from previously owned cars. All memorized.

Perfect anti theft features. Repulsive crossover that is a stick.

I confess. I love the ZDX, but only the Advance trim models. I had one as my company car. That weird coupe thing was surprisingly fun as a vehicle. Biggest drawback is all the massive blind areas it has. Granted, those are rectified with Blind Spot Detection that comes in the Advance trim. Add that to the aircon seats

After she’s done beating my ass.

I need to know EVERYTHING. Especially since I’ll probably be buying one shortly, when the wife makes Chief Petty Officer.

Uh huh. I’ve been in three MVC. All three were the fault of the other driver. All three had no insurance (or pathetically little to the point we will just say none). Two of those totaled my vehicles. One of those saddled me with a hospital bill more than the mortgage of my house (over $200k). Since this was Florida, I

This is a touchy subject for us. And it has greater implications as a whole. We had to put down our 16 year old dog recently. Considering we had her for 10 years before our children, she was just as loved as them. However, we are military and currently reside on a federal base. So, burial? Not gonna happen. We had her

Oh, for fucks’s sake. So now, we have a FWD car that will drive pretty good. Until the expensive parts start breaking in phases. Phase 1 will be parts that will remain on intergalactic back order until just before lemon law kicks in. Phase 2 will happen just after warranty expires. Good news is, there will be plenty

Very nice take on PPE. I had an experience in my youth that still makes me swear by it.

Doesn’t this car have the same monocoque design as the Elise/Exige? So minor damage to body can effectively total it, since you are not supposed to repair it?

Key codes were a 4 digit number that had a specific cut assigned to each number. That makes 10,000 possible combinations (0000-9999), for simplicity. If HMA sold 40,000 units of the same car here in a given year, 4 cars would have the same key cut in statistical probability. Given that these things sold like hotcakes

Totally a solid NP! That is a very clean Legend. Chances are I may have worked on it at some point. Those cars are bulletproof reliable, as long as you do some maintenance. Shit, I’d go down and buy it myself if I didn’t live in the rust belt currently. I’d even go against my cardinal rule of no automatics.

Holy balls, you are so right. Was never happier than when we got transferred out of there.

Jesus H. Tap-dancing Christ in a Fucking Hula Skirt, I am so not surprised by this in the slightest. About the only thing that would shock me would be if he had no meth or Oxy-Contin in his system. And the machete? That’s an Alabama pocket knife.

I found the original Monroney sticker for my TL. SH-AWD, manual, Tech Package, Protection Package 1 & 2, and a partridge in a pear tree. All that was a tick over $50K. Pretty sure the original selling dealer stuffed it with every single dealer add-on to top that arbitrary number. Bought it used less than 2 years old

Enter my car, the Acura TL. You could get a manual with it, but only the SH-AWD version. And every one I have ever seen has the Technology Package on top. Therefore, the only manual you get was the top of the line most expensive variant.
