Sorry, my contempt for rebadged Isuzus was not so evenly matched with my sarcasm.

Oh gods. When I was a tech for Acura, we would draw straws for who would wrench on these piles of junk. Nothing was good working on these. Dealers had a separate computer diagnostic system for these as the PGM-FI scanner was mostly incompatible with the Isuzu/GM computers in these.

All the nope on the Internet today. More nope than a Hispanic female judge that practices Islam voting for Trump.

Why am I SO NOT SURPRISED by this development happening out of Tampa Bay? Because the same goddamned thing happened to me in Clearwater. Still have the pic of my damn feet hanging out from where they pulled me out.

I wanted to be shocked by reading this. Really did. But, after being in the car business for nearly 20 years now, I am not surprised. Not even in the slightest.

How is this different than the torque vectoring with an overdrive clutch SH-AWD system Acura (parent company Honda’s other outfit) has been using for 11 years?

I have lived in Mobile, Alabama for the last 4 years. This raging douche has graced all the local adverts for so long I have tuned him out. He also owns (owned?) a Range Rover. When I worked at the local Rover dealership, I had the privilege (sarcasm alert!) of dealing with this asshat. The hypocrisy was strong with

Rotors. That generation Accord has the hub in front of the rotor. So to change brake rotors, you need to press off the hub. In other words, change wheel bearings to change brake rotors.

If it is where I am thinking it is (there is Sawgrass Lake right by where Park turns into Gandy just before the 275 junction, as well as a retention pond right at the interchange), the police officers were probably wise and erred on the side of caution. That pond by Gandy and 275 has mud that will suck you under.

In a small town where I grew up, the local fuzz cracked down hard on window tint. So much that they had a little gun that supposedly measured light transmission through glass. They would pull over people with dark windows and give them tickets.

Definite NP! This is the cleanest one of these I have ever seen. And as an Acura tech, I have seen a few. As along as the vacuum lines are in good shape, you would have very little problems with this car. Engine in these older Legends are damn near bulletproof, transmission is a stick (yay!), and the body looks solid.

I had a 87 CRX Si identical to the red one in the museum pic above. Words cannot describe how much I loved that car. My girlfriend (now wife) got a 1991 CRX Si. It was superior in every single way, but my 87 was more engaging and fun to drive. I miss that car.

Both my Acura TL and my Honda Accord have inflator recalls. I have been told that the time frame to get my cars fixed is 3-5 months. Here is the best part. Both the Acura and Honda dealers told me to NOT drive my car. I dunno if it is that serious, but wow...

I know most causeways in Florida look similar, but this bears a striking resemblance to the Courtney Campbell Causeway between Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.

No, they would steal it.

Because if I’m not gonna spend a lot of money to ride around on a nice bus.

In the meantime, if I put my daughter’s nap mat in mine to wash it, my washer starts hopping out my garage and down the block.

This! If I want to get a super long wheelbase limo version of a car, then those middle seats are rear facing.

Nope. All the nope in the Sunshine State.

I go with Chris ‘No, not Captain America, the other one. Yes, there is another one. I think he has a radio show in the UK or something. He was also married to Billie Piper.’ Evans.
