I have a cold air intake on my 6-speed V6 Accord. Not because I want it to add power. But for the sound. There are fewer things better sounding than a J-series V6 Honda engine IMHO. Yeah flat 6 Porsches, LS V8s, and almost any V12 are sweet music, but that sweet sweet baritone of a 3.2 or 3.5 J engine is just sex from

Yes, my wife is active duty USCG. She is an avionics electrical technician on the HC-144, the Casa. We just put in for Sacramento where they are putting in multiple CJ-27’s there for service. She has been working with the program to retrofit that frame to make it ready for use with the USCG. It really is a remarkable

Own one. Absolute blast to drive. Love it so much am getting a second one.

I dunno. Everyone at the military base loves my TL. And my wife and I love it so much we are getting another one. There is a caveat, though. Mine is a 6MT. Gotta find us another.

My best friend growing up had one. Or, should I say, her grandfather had one. That thing was awesome! I thought we would ride in luxury because it had a 19 inch colour TV. With a VCR! Looking back, I realize my TL with iPads in the backseat is just as good. But the reclining captains chairs were nice.

Both my cars hit those notes: SH-AWD TL with a 6-speed stick as well as an Accord Coupe V6 6-speed stick. Love them like you would not believe. And yes, you can get past the beak... by painting it black like the rest of the car.

Yes, one of the soldiers was a guy from my high school. This sucks.

Had a car come in with drum brakes making noise. Pulled drums off and everything came out in pieces. It was all rusted from leaky wheel cylinders and water mixed with road salt. Gave an estimate for just hardware and shoes. Nope, too much. I knew this woman did not have much money so I offered half labor and cost on

Remids me of the asshat that was trying to sell me on his Ford Contour SVT having 350HP at the wheels. Stock.

No kidding. I work in the parts department of my local Hyundai dealer. While they say “America’s Best Warranty”, it is complete crap. Part of the problem is the customers are sold on this great warranty and that they never have to pay for anything. Including basic maintenance. I hear comments every day along the lines

Sorry, but this is overblown. The whole story is not being told here. Did he have it there for an oil change or were they trying to diagnose something? If it was just an oil change, then a 7 mile test drive is a little ridiculous. But what if the techs were trying to diagnose a concern? Problems sometimes do not

Seventh digit is transmission. Honda and Acura make this very easy; even number/letter is automatic, odd number/letter is manual. I only wish other manufacturers could be so easy. When looking for a Honda product online, I check the VIN if it’s posted. From there I can determine if it’s worth me checking out. It blows

Yes! From Atlantic City. Always 2 Dauphins deployed to NCR in constant rotation. My wife was stationed there.

They are a detachment from Air Station Atlantic City. My wife was stationed there. They always has 2 Dauphins deployed to NCR.

Easy.

Regards to the Coast Guard. My wife is active duty. She is 4’10”. She got a special waiver to be allowed to join due to her exceptional performance on her ASVAB and her college credits. Her duty is an Aviation Electrical Techician.

Back in 09, I called the Acura dealer I worked at for many years and asked to put a deposit down for a TSX Wagon. Having known about the Euro Accord wagon for a while, I was ready to snap one up.

Owner of a 2005 Accord V6 6-speed manual as well as a 2010 SH-AWD TL 6-speed manual here. Absolutely love both cars. My Accord is plenty quick enough to lose my license, but it is a great daily driver. My TL is a beast. Not the fastest in a straight line, but it handles much better than I anticipated.

Thanks. I was brewing for 2 whole weeks waiting to throw that in his face. He kept making a big deal about it. But I just sat back and waited. Because it was gonna be glorious.

Thanks Tavarish. I was not expecting that. There is another story I would like to share but the roles were reversed. I was the customer this time.
