Pretty much every Honda/Acura V6 (actually, every one of them) uses a timing belt all the way to present day. The K-series inline fours use chains as well as some of the other fours. But every Honda sourced V6 has one. I know; they paid for my house and my 6-speed manual SH-AWD TL.

The procedure for our recalls if to pull the airbag out. You go to Honda's website and put in model and serial numbers. Then you get a response back to replace or reinstall. You do not tear down the airbag at all.
