HA! I live in southern Alabama at present. But I have a vocal accent that is a cross between British and Canadian because I am from the Great White North. When I started working at the Acura dealer here in Alabama, I would catch hell from my co-workers for my pronunciation. It took 6 months before they finally

Dunno if this qualifies, but I would like to nominate the ZDX. I worked for the Acura dealer that sits between Tallahassee and New Orleans on the Gulf Coast. During my tenure, I only ever dealt with 2 of them; 1 of those was our service loaner. Funny thing is, I like this vehicle. I flip-flopped on liking this

Actually, almost every electronic throttle control defaults to a high idle setting. The system has 2 failsafes: triple monitoring on the pedal position sensor, and dual mode throttle modulation. It has to force the throttle closed when needed and open past the default point. In my 12 years as a tech with DBW, I

I have a 2005 Honda Accord with a V6 and a 6-speed manual that is lovingly referred to as the "Bucket".

My other car is a 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD also with a 6-speed manual that is lovingly referred as the "Beast".

Bonus points to those who can remember where the Bucket and Beast came from.

In New Jersey, it is against the law to idle a vehicle. Yes, if you go to a Wawa in the stark cold of winter and your wife goes inside to get a cup of hot coffee, you cannot idle your vehicle and keep the heat on. Or, in contrast, keep the AC on when it is 100 degrees in the middle of July. New Jersey is strange.

I have mentioned this in a previous comment about the cars I have owned, but I will state it again:

*mules

I remember reading about those test mills in GM's "Skunk Works". They also had a twin engine Citation; it was good for 420 BHP and AWD.

Like how he has a pack of Marb Lights in the centre console. Sometimes people with obscene amounts of money do not treat their cars better than a lower middle class soccer mom does. No offense to the soccer moms.

I see your crazy guy and raise you this one:

Ah yes, the Vigor/2.5TL. They were notorious for cracking the exhaust manifolds, blowing out the mass air sensor, and filling the distributor with oil. The distributor sits on the very back of the head and runs off the camshaft. When the seal went bad, it would fill up with oil that was used to lubricate the cam.

I know. I work in southern Alabama. You should see the looks on everyone's face when I pronounce it "zed-dee-ex".

I already have a TL SH-AWD with a 6-speed manual. If I did not have that already, then the ZDX would not be on my list.

I absolutely LOVE the ZDX. It is a very polarizing vehicle. You either love it or hate it. We have one as a service loaner at the Acura dealer I work at. Nobody wants to drive the damn thing. So whenever I need a loaner, I use the ZDX. Now, the one we have is the Advance model with the blind spot monitors,

Considering this is where I was raised, I am piqued. The location of the Gumby's is right next to the DiCarlo's in Elm Grove. Also, consider the demographics of the area. A Passat is far more likely than a 5-series.

Designed to poke fun at Lost and BSG? I rewatched both series a few months back. While it was clear during the third season, BSG was having trouble resolving its story the ending of the show was scores better than Lost. Lost was a frakking cop-out.

Hell yes! I took one for a spin on a ride and drive. It is not the fastest of cars, but it handles like it is on rails. It reminds me of throwing around my old CRX Si in the curvy back roads of WV.

Alright, I work for Acura. I have a really good way to fix this. Stop offering a car that has all the goodies of your flagship model at less the price. I speak of the TL SH-AWD. You can get a TL AWD with the Advance package for $6K less than the RL. AND it is better looking! It essentially is the same car: AWD,

You, sir, are right about that. I cannot believe I forgot about Zathras.

Holy crap. I am beginning to think there is a curse on this show. Principal cast members that have passed:
