I was a touch disappointed with this week's ep. They pulled a "Destiny" and saved her in the computer core after her body was killed. I groaned a little at the end of last week's outing, but really groaned in this week's show.

Have to agree with Miss Leathers. Too much of an age gap for it to be the stepdad. The stepbrother is the more likely one. They are like the Xavier/Lennsherr dynamic. Used to work together, comes a dividing point, and now enemies.
I lived in Clearwater for the majority of the 2000's. My wife got stationed first in NJ and now in AL, which is where I'm living presently.
I figured out that scene the second I saw it. The post crew works from what the actors do. The director will say to picture the screen and interface with it. They then make blind finger or hand movements and add the UI in post. Looks cool though.
OK Charlie, you sold me. I watched the first ep and am now hooked. I have missed a decent edgy show that can be complicated. I miss my BSG and my SGU. I am glad that there are familiar actors there from both shows. Also I agree on many points: it's nice to have Vancouver be Vancouver instead of Boston, New York,…
Yeah, me too. It used to suck so bad for me having to dart across 8 lanes to exit at Old Keene Mill. Now, not so bad.
My wife is a huge hypocrite. She proclaims that she does not like sci-fi, but she is a fan of the SG shows, some Star Trek, and the vampire craze in its many forms. She says she loathes BSG, but I can remember that I was away on business when the episode that featured Starbuck remembering she could play Bob Dylan. …
And wave, like this....
Ok I had postulated a quick theory before researching the article. My theory was that the propulsion was heavily dependent upon zero-point energy. I had learned about the Casimir Effect during researching zero-point energy. If she can pull this off, the implication of being able to wrangle zero-point energy would…
I see you that and raise my speaker box for my dual 15" subs that I had in my car in high school. It was a while ago so conjuring up a pic is rough, but picture this......
The pic never gets old. I almost wish for porn related stories just to see the pic on the little bar on the right.
I have mixed feelings about this list. While I agree on BTTF, LOTR, and Indy, I do not think Revolutions or Search for Spock are the "worst". ST:III was so much better than TMP and V. I agree that the story suffered in both Matrix sequels, but Revolutions has one of my favorite battle sequences in the showdown…
Agreed. I would not call it "slick, modern VFX" but the makeup on the intruder was first rate.
Not bad at all. The creature in the cabin was genuinely terrifying. I would show this to my wife, but it would scare her sh-tless.
I bet you the indexing request was sent outside of North America. So when Google had to file it away, it did so as a Euro Accord.
Sorry to let you know, but that is a second-gen Acura TSX in the bottom pic. It known as a Honda Accord in international markets.
Back in 2001, my Honda CRX had a bad front ball joint go bad. The result was the lower control arm separated from the knuckle. Realizing that I had gotten my money's worth out of my old Honda, I decided to buy a new car. I had my eye set on a new Accord with a 5-speed manual. My father agreed to help but only if I…
