Not really. I’d just moved to the area. A friend I was with was born there and was moving back, and the people having the cookout were locals. The conversation before we were offered food went something like this.

-Greetings exchanged, and small talk passes.
-Man at Grill- Are you new to the area

No he is not fucking with, someone’s aunt will swear you are trying to show them up, and have their feelings hurt.

Unless you are another black person in an area with a unusually small population of black people this is ill-advised.

Yeah, my issue with the comparison to race car safety shell technology is that a race cars safety cell is meant to take a single high intensity event and survive, where as these things are meant to essentially actively try to wreck each others’ shit (technical term) repeatedly and frequently.

This is scaled back from some other stuff I’ve seen.

Correct... Ultimately I’m working from the hearsay of people I’ve worked with. From what I know that’s a sprinting speed, and the ship could not effectively be integrated in CSG’s. MEU’s may have and may be an easier job.

They are fast for a Battleship, but believe me they are slower than the rest of the fleet.

Excluding strategic capability. BB’s are SLOW. The fleet has gotten faster to try to keep up with the carrier strike force and MEU deployment pace.

I don’t necessarily read the statements as an indictment of women as, “fragile emotional simpletons “, but at the time the psychosomatic study of oncology was seeking numerous cancer risk factors. Stress and mental duress are known complicators of health in many ways.

And not to drag a men vs women thing in here, but

While true, the Navy still carries out a very large roll as forward bombers for the military, a little cross training for top attacking ships wouldn’t be a far stretch.

Also while many Anti-Ship missiles are set for waterline strikes, top attacking missiles are not unheard of, and with increasing warhead

Just the little detail improvements between this and the first one is GREAT!!!

New Bat Metal Video came out this week!

This is hearsay and anecdotal evidence, but from some time spent aboard surface warfare ships, my favorite line about Carrier Task Force duty is, “When the shit hits the fan... we’re the slow lame children of the fleet compared to the carriers.”

Cool man, glad you enjoyed it.

I only tend to use butter for baking, and when I need it I pull it out in advanced to allow it to soften. I also tend to prefer my toast with jam and no butter :D. I also live in the south so my Apartment for a good 70% of the year stays above 75 degrees unless I have company over for whom that’s uncomfortable. Butter

No simulation is entirely accurate, and assumptions at some point have to be made. You use intelligence to determine expected effectiveness, then you build an envelop around that which increases variance and margins of error. You can then build estimations for best, worst, mixed, and entirely random scenario cases.

Awesome, I'd love the hear your thoughts after seeing the movie.

My friend and I left the theater commenting that, “If this is the closest thing we are to get to a feature length Archer movie, we would be entirely alright with it.”

While not an entirely accurate comparison, I can only imagine that this is what an entirely competent (and only slightly more professional) Archer would

While the whole movie is a build up to the "Origin" of U.N.C.L.E. The only origin story feeling part of the movie, as the post's author states, is the first 20 minutes. The movie really comes alive after clothes shopping and a mugging. If you trust random people on the internet, trust me, and go see this movie.
