Native Montrealer here: The results were more to make the Liberals lose than to make the PQ win. There was less than a percent difference in terms of votes and the PQ only won 4 seats more than the PLQ (Parti Liberal du Quebec). I'm slightly disappointed she won—with her support for xenophobic policies.
