I like the actors involved quite a bit (and they do good work on this show), plus I love the creators' previous work ('In Treatment'), so I know there will be, despite anything else, the occasional great scene from time to time.

No, those autobiographical details never came up because they aren't real people and the writers hadn't invented and retconned them into the Noah/Allison story yet. It's nice that you can rationalize reasons to make it work for you, but for some of us, it's quite unrealistic and poor writing (or at least, poor

"i would called it "the showtime third season struggle"

Not only that, but maintaining the guise of differing perspectives, without actually using it for practical illumination, simply allows the writers to get away with (and the audience to gloss over) hackneyed plot devices and terrible dialogue that continues to plague this show.

Whitney's "boyfriend" is such a hackneyed stereotype of a visual artist used so frequently in TV and films that I think it must be it's own button ("Insert Character -> Artist-Type") on screenwriting software.

As much as I admired the creators' earlier work (long live 'In Treatment'), the execution of the concept behind this show (a life-changing affair seen through the perspective of the various participants) was diluted and hampered from the very start by two very bad things:
1) The writing and/or casting and/or acting of

Holy crap.. that was Brendan Fraser? Eesh!

Given that the entire sequence of events is nearly impossible (to put it mildly), the only person remotely responsible for Scotty's death is the person that shoved him into oncoming traffic. If he had been hit by a bus or any other car driven by a stranger, this wouldn't even be a topic of conversation.

I use definitions to define; Google is a search engine that finds them - and I copied the definition verbatim:

No, you hate me - which, given your history of posts, I consider a job well done. You, OTOH, nobody even thinks about.

Let's see:

Here's the very first definition that comes up via Google:

Dear Idiot. Come back when you've mastered basic grammar and computer usage.

If you think I thought his "freedom" to come back to this board was somehow linked to my "consent" (which is what he suggested with his reply), you don't understand the usage .It was simply a polite way of saying, "Don't hesitate to gloat if your crazy theories are true."

"There was just as much evidence to support that POSSIBLE scenario, as there was to the contrary (e.g. A student and Daniel's girlfriend)."

Says the guy that believes Hanna was just a wanton, promiscuous 16-year old into some kinky sex that…whoopsie daisy… ended up accidentally dead. Good one!

I know, but Hanna was murdered in 1994.

Let's just say that I prefer that to "boShank" :)

"I already knew that the age of consent in the state of GA was 16 when I entered into that "debate" with you. It was very clearly stated that Hanna was 16 in the very first episode of this series. I let you go on… "
