The other thing that threw me off was that Daniel and Janet did visit the coast on their trip to Nashville last season. The coast is close to Nashville, GA - but the opposite direction from Nashville, TN - so they did much more driving on that road trip than I realized at the time.
Yep - I binged it as well and was so excited heading into the tension-mounted, heavily-presaged, hard-fought-to-be-there court case. AND? Limping is exactly the right word for it.
What's "insane"? I already admitted I was incorrect 3 days ago - where have you been? I wrongly believed he had to spend time in the single county of Georgia he was banished to under the plea deal. As far as your reasoning goes, I don't know the area so the highway signs mean absolutely nothing to me; I've never heard…
Ha! Funny line (fit for a screenplay). Considering the number of comments I've seen about wanting to hold and cuddle Daniel Holden (and other things) from female (and perhaps male?) posters through the years this show has been on, I don't doubt that he could get some if he wanted.
I feel sorry for you (and others) that the introduction of a new, IMO well-written character is ruining this great show.
She's the opposite of manic.
So I'm assuming you don't live in a city?
"Hey, when I was going through some tough times, I met some…"
Daniel can't go back to Paulie - or at least, he would be susceptible to arrest if he did, because he's banished from there.
Yep, you (and SuSu) are right and I'm wrong - I just Googled it.
I'm fairly sure he's in Nashville, Georgia. He was banished to a single county in Georgia, and Nashville is in Berrien County - one of the counties used by judges for banishment.
Well, I don't watch all that many shows, but of the ones I do watch, they don't all have these kinds of characters - but that seems like a moot point either way.
Ok, I see it now. I'll post a response there.
Women like her most certainly exist - although one could make the case that they would be few and far-between in Nashville, Georgia - but that doesn't preclude the possibility.
Quite a rebuttal.
No, I'm also enjoying Chloe and I think she's a well-written character possessing both good and damaged qualities - but providing Daniel some of the things he needs at this point in his journey.
"I'm fonder of the idea that, as she said, she and Daniel are "temporarily perfect for each other" — that they provide mutual support and companionship as they both immediately navigate radical changes in their lives."
To me, this has been the strongest and most congruent first 4 episodes of any season since the first, likely related to the fact that this is the first time McKinnon has written all of the episodes himself (he's already written more episodes this season than in any previous). It seems odd to me that you (and,…
"Chloe is, and I hope I don't get banned for saying this, a Manic Pixie Dream Girl…"
