I think your take is actually more literal than mine, but I'm enjoying the conversation nonetheless :)

"Stop trying to have something to say and get back to being funny."
I'm not sure your point really holds up to scrutiny. Dogs cool themselves by panting with their tongues out; it's not necessarily related to thirst (just as a sweating human is not necessarily a thirsty human). Gatsby's fantasy about Beth (and hence, his "crush") began when he saw her lapping water, but the same thing…
Another excellent episode from the series that never ceases to innovate and delight (despite the delivery platform). Kudos to Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair!
Also why the hell does Simspons get 20+ seasons while Archer only gets 10 and like a tenth of the episodes?
Do you mean Dassey's fourth "confession"? Dassey made at least 4 separate "confessions" over several days to the police, with his story wildly different from the physical evidence in many areas until the last version (which the detectives had tweaked to perfection). Why do you suppose the prosecution filed the motion…
Of course - but this was Lenny Kravitz 16 years (at least) ago:
Is the character called Buddy in the Quarry books, or did they give Damon Herriman's character that name because it's just a slow drawl's throw away from Dewey?
That's funny - calling my response 'grade school' after your childish "Go somewhere else." I'll just assume '82 is the year you were born in, and that you're a 34-year old nitwit. Guess what, junior? Just because a show is your 'favorite' doesn't magically improve it, and I fully understand the AV Club 'business'…
No. He looks good, but certainly not younger - he's definitely put on some weight.
As yet unmentioned here (and worth noting), this episode was written by Louis C.K. (as opposed to the first 2 episodes, which were co-written by C.K. and Adlon).
Absolutely - and it's getting better and better each episode. Loved Buddy and his mom!
I'm personally loving the new, longer time - and I expect they'll play around with the number, length, and interlocking of stories within the episode as much as they played around with webisode length in the past.
I've watched 5 of the 8 so far, and while I don't think it's quite at the level of 'great' (as of yet), I thought it was enjoyable.
I think it's fair to comment on the (growing) trend of AV Club to review mediocre shows in lieu of better ones. If you don't want to see comments such as mine, you can go somewhere else yourself.
AV Club reviewing this show every week, but not Quarry? Eesh….
I loved the out-of-the-blue, humorous homage to the "Kiss Me Deadly" glowing case (or the briefcase from "Pulp Fiction" - for those viewers unfamiliar with where Tarentino lifted the original idea from).
Ha… yeah, sure. Funny *and* charming - I'll bet you're gorgeous too, right?
Well, you're quite the charmer; I'll bet you're just so special in real life as well. And probably just as adept there at defending your opinions with such cogent and well-articulated thoughts (I know Wikipedia can be such a chore to use when out in public). And thanks, but no thanks, you can keep your invitation…
The rest of us can also read the literature that exists on Escobar and that period (or are you Escobar's son or close associate?), and this is simply a massive overstatement - unless you're calculating "almost half" by counting screen minutes and tallying every private moment shown with any character or their…
