I am not trying to suggest that prison rape is not a serious problem. It is. But your own numbers show that it’s far from something that every prisoner experiences.

Most of the studies you cite were focused on groups at higher risk than the general prison population. Juveniles incarcerated with adults are definitely victimized at a greater rate than the typical prisoner. Prisoners in maximum security settings also tend to experience a far greater rate of both sexual and nonsexual…

It’s actually pretty unlikely. Less than one in twenty prisoners in the United States are subject to sexual assault while incarcerated.
