This thread seems as good a place to ask this as any: I've only ever really watched episodes 1-6, but once the clone troopers were introduced in their very storm trooper-looking armor, I made the leap to assume that the clone troops just eventually became the storm troopers. Is this not the case?

I so love the Duggan/Posehn run on Deadpool, it's the reason I started reading comics again as a result. Don't hold your breath waiting for Fox and Disney to work out a deal to have Cap appear in an X-flick though. The studio power dynamics are way different here than in the Spider-Man instance.

I can't say how successful they are in the comics yet, but I believe both John Diggle and Felicity Smoak from CW's Arrow might fit this bill.
