"Sometimes, the world is so beautiful I—Hey, would you shut up back there?!"
"Sometimes, the world is so beautiful I—Hey, would you shut up back there?!"
I do believe this is what people mean by "slut shaming"? I hated Bill being so scummy about it. It's none of his damn business, and he's pretty presumptuous to assume her kids are having a hard time.
Is that so? That's great news. I just…wasn't in love with this episode and this sounds encouraging.
It looked like he was strapped to some kind of exercise machine rather than a chair. It seemed pretty heavy to me.
Privileged? Nope. I doubt anyone here has any power over the GOT crew. If I could pay a writer to adhere to my worldview, THEN I would be privileged.
Try lithium? You're minimizing mental illness when you snark that anyone who has a problem with this plot deviation needs lithium. Or, you just don't even know what lithium is used for.
Something something wand euphemism!
Ah, the old Wizard did it defense!
Yeah, I always seem to read the most defensive responses to critical comments at AVC Hannibal stuff. I sometimes see comments like, "It happened like this on the show because it happened in the books" and also "Things from the books don't have to happen on this show." These viewers are so forgiving—Bryan Fuller is…
I recently read Franny and Zooey for the first time, and I think Zooey Glass would have a lot to say about the "Hatesong" articles.
"You rave and you bitch about thee stupidity of audiences. The goddam 'unskilled record buying' coming from the whole country. And that's right, that's right—God knows it's depressing. …
I've never really been a big GnR fan; I mostly liked the singles on that album. I'm not terribly surprised that Axl and I absolutely don't agree on what's cool… Glad to see more info on this, though!
And it actually made me angry. I really don't want to know what the band was trying to say with that image.
Young NPH has always looked like a human kitten to me.
I've practiced censorship for my own personal benefit.
1) When I was a kid I ripped out the most disturbing story in a Stephen King book: Survivor Type was its name, I think. I couldn't bear the fact that this gruesome tale existed. My mom borrowed the book from me, and it cracked her up when she came to the…
I use it for respect.
Seasons four and five of "Fringe"—the DVDs I dread to rewatch. Four broke up the hard-earned relationships between Peter, Olivia, and Walter. A lot of their motivations didn't make sense. The show often tried to create drama based entirely on the characters withholding information from each other.
How I love when Frances Conroy raises her voice about an octave when she plays angry! It was just adorable on Six Feet Under. I love her and wish I could see her in more stuff.
Religion is here to stay, as are people like Bill Maher, laughing at his own imperious jokes against it. At least Rust is such a loner, the number of nerves he touches are kept to a minimum.
Really? But I really liked it! I never expect Sherlock to be all, "Gosh, I'm so sorry. Can you ever find it in your tender heart to forgive this foolish scoundrel?" (offers flowers and chocolates)
I'm thinking there wouldn't be locks on bedroom doors in that rehab. The staff would hate it if the patients had any privacy at all. Unfortunately, I speak from experience.
