Not to mention the part where Steven feels he needs to live up to his mom and BE his mom, having been lead to believe that she was perfect and wouldn’t hurt a single person. He has yet to deal with what the gems had to do during the war.

Seriously, as someone who has been through therapy for combat-related PTSD, I wanted to immediately send this episode to my therapist and tell him “This is what you need to show future patients”. I would not expect a show on Cartoon Network to explore such a deep, complicated subject, let alone do it so well.

This video is amazing. The dude has the balls to keep going with the class and tries to bring out another gun.

Rule 1: Pretend it was in the lesson plan.

So, everybody keeps allowing this guy to make decisions and continue after he’s shot himself! They are clearly hesitant about giving him another and larger gun as he tries to ‘play it off,’ but do bring it to him. Kudos to the woman screaming, “put it down! We’ve seen it.” Also interesting that everyone is so

Oh sweet irony. “I’m the only one professional enough...” of course it happened then.

Florida, amiright?

Now playing

Florida DEA agent demonstrating good gun handling skills in a classroom.

This saddens me. Now there is literally no way he’ll see the inside of a jail cell.

Some people take their Gym defense seriously, ok?

I actually saw told my brother to be careful playing this game. I won’t be downloading it either. I just don’t feel safe playing it. I don’t live in a bad neighborhood when it comes to this, and my brother lives in a better one than I do. But after he told me he got followed by some old white dude trying to catch one

It’s about the fact that crazy paranoid white people would see a black person wandering around their “affluent” neighborhood, holding out their phone like he’s taking pictures. He’s actually hunting pokemon, but Mom Whitebread over here thinks he’s casing houses so she calls the cops.

This is in no way an exaggeration.

Keep in mind that one of the things that got George Zimmerman off the hook for shooting a seventeen year old was that he claimed he feared for his life. He also said what made him suspicious of the teenager walking around in his father’s neighborhood was that he was walking in the rain unhurriedly and kept looking

I live in the South and I’m afraid to walk anywhere near someone else’s property lest I get shot. I’m not trying to say I know what it’s like to be black - I’m sure it’s absolutely worse if you’re black, but I do know what it’s like to fear other people and it sucks.

I agree with your statement, and while also not black - can understand the concern of the author. It’s really really crazy out there right now for folks of color (and yes, we get it all lives matter hivemind, it’s crazy for everyone at this point), and this isn’t an exaggeration sadly. I know if this man showed up in

I think it is one of those movies that you have to be a passionate fan of otherwise what’s the point.

I’m with ya; that quote really threw me.

Rare passionate DUNE fan? Wait what?
