He votes yes today but then says he wouldn’t vote for the bill that was submitted and goes on about compromise blah blah.   Any yes vote today is so they can go back to their home state and claim they tried. They only care about being re-elected.

If you’re a GOP Senator and you’re up in 2018 you had to vote yes. This way you can go back to your base and say “at least I wanted an open debate” or something like that. Passing a shitty bill that’s polling shitty is a whole different story.

So this only opens the debate on a bill correct? A bill still has to pass. Maybe this clusterfuck will really hurt their 2018 chances.

How do you not have single payer in this “agenda?” Even people who voted for Trump are now seeing the benefit of ACA and understand the healthcare they have is significantly better than none. Healthcare is a talking point which people on the fence will stand up and take notice. I don’t see how anyone on either side…
