Her English lyrics have always been... goofy to put it mildly. Just listen to some of her “Cubic U” stuff. Oof.

I hate this animation. There have been several anime series which I have written off just because of it. Berserk one one I just forced myself though, sigh.
Its not just ICs, other discrete components are completely out of stock, I have MOSFETs for a PCB at work that won’t have stock till Jan. Tiny 0603 fuses are out of stock too, resistors, capacitors, everything is just out of stock.
Things dont always scale well. And stuff that handles power may not be able to dissipate the energy with a smaller die or just flat out won't be able to handle it with smaller features. Its a lot of work to shrink a design.
I deal with component obsolescence at work and right now also long lead time parts where we just can’t get parts for existing designs till next year. A lot of parts like passive components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc) are pretty easy to find a second source for. ICs are kind of a maybe. Some things like 74…
The Solo adventure ends with your kid killing you.
Sounds like they found the worst of the anime dub voice actors. Ugh. Hopefully you can turn on japanese dialog like with FFXV.
Plus she is a public figure and that makes a defamation case even harder to prove because they have to prove malice.
There’s no reason in the update TOS for developers that use external payment that says that any sales made though the app to third party payment processors will be subject to say 15% of the transaction. The ruling just said they had to allow external payment processors but they never said apple couldn’t still get a…
Yep, it really started when they killed off Cayde. I so wish they would have killed off ikora or zavala, or both, they are just so painfully dry and humorless.
This is hitting us at work and we build industrial stuff that uses chips that are usually not found in a lot of consumer stuff like higher end FPGAs. Cant get them and some of the CPLDs we use as well as discrete things like leds and mosfets. It’s really annoying. There are just some parts that there are no alternates…
“Since the Kinect uses infrared, testers standing under air conditioning vents in the Vancouver, British Columbia studio were often rendered invisible to the sensor”
Calling BS on that one, Kinect uses Near Infrared around the 700-900nm range. This is way too short of a wavelenth for thermal effects which happen at…
Measuring through the case with an infrared thermometer is pointless. You need to take it apart and install thermistors or thermocouples to see what’s really going on. This is what we do at work for HALT testing.
Second, this is just a reskin of the Elite II
Just opening something does not invalidate your warranty, the manufacturer has to prove that what you did caused the damage. Its actually illegal (Assuming you are in the US.)
The facial animation looks like it came out of fallout but Ill still play it.
I think legally thats really what they have to do, otherwise it is ex post facto and they are using the guise of “a mistake” to try to get around it. Someone will probably have to take the state to court which will be a crapshoot at best.
Aluminum is valuable and i can guarantee all of this was scooped up with a front end loader and hauled off for recycling where it will be further shredded and sent to a refinery.
Unless you cant get a component because the part is obsolete the market for used components is very tiny. It does happen somewhat in china but most higher tier manufacturers want to see a paper trail of the parts they are getting because counterfeits are such an issue. I work with designing test fixtures for board as…
Silicon is one of the most plentiful elements on earth. Sure, there are shortages but thats just because we dont have the capacity to refine sand into silicon boules for ICs. It all gets melted down anyway, silicon is alloyed with aluminum for various reasons so that will just be compensated for in the mix.
