Not low melt solder, RoHS solder (Lead free for the euros). It is less ductile than lead solder and can crack on many heat cool cycles. Same culprit for the PS3 YLOD and in laptop as well. RoHS solder actually melts at a higher temp than traditional PbSn solder. It is a nightmare to rework.

USB Video devices are about only useful for things like doing presentations. They just dont have enough bandwidth to be useful. Take a look at a 16 lane PCIe 4.0 slot like where you would find a video card, you get about 31GB/s throughput on that. USB of any flavor cant even come close to that.
