A girl I used to know who came from tokyo told me this was how it was for her. Her skirt was shorter than regulation but she never got any flack since she was the class prez.

You just dont get the idea of alternate histories, do you?

Well, you can't have a mini-gun without a license but you can have a gatling gun. They do not requite a Class 3 FFL to own. I have seen several home made .22 gatts in person, beautiful workmanship.

I am doing that with Ni No Kuni right now. The english translation is awful.

Reread that passage. "consensus where no one is vetoing" That means any one person can veto and then it is all over with. This comes from a friend who did manage to get all the way through the hiring process.

Valve flew me up there late last year for a pre-interview. It was supposed to be a "come and see the place and see if you might want to work here" situation. Midway through lunch it suddenly became an interview and I totally flubbed it.

Sure, studio time, the VA, techs, director, the editing, etc. Easy 4k. And there may be a union involved too which always raises prices.

Oh why, oh why do all the cosplay videos have the same crappy slow-mo hand pan/steady cam filming? Looks like crap.

Not $60+ fun. I played the first joke beta.

At $60+ for a game I expect the best.

The bigger part of the story is not being told. Japanese police forced the 4 victims of this guy (If it is really even him) to confess to crimes they never committed. That is way more important than catching this guy.

You are misunderstanding the usage of the word "regulation". Regulation in this term means trained. And as for Militia, the legally defined definition of that in the US as any able bodied male over the age of 17.

I remember reading about bits of this case a while back. The poor guy who had his computer hijacked was arrested and had a confession forced out of him. The incompetent police couldnt understand that and IP address means very little.

Offending people is wrong? Well, I am offended that you think that offending people is wrong. So you are wrong by your own standards.

I remember these from the early eighties. Heck, they still make them:

I was a part of the "beta" as well. It was more of a publicity stunt than anything. 1 hour of playing? How can anyone find real issues in that little of time.

I cant count the times I have needed manuals for things and the company is gone and there is zero info on the web.

Then there are the times when the manual does not exist or is impossible to get. I have some laser related equipment the manufacturer flat out denies they ever made even though their name is on the outside and on the boards internally. Those calls are quite fun...

Yeah, I had the same thought when I read it too.

Re: RTFM: So many things dont even come with manuals now. Like video games. They give you a tutorial at the beginning and if you forget a command you pretty much have to go on the internet to find out again. Gone are the days of useful manuals with the games.
