By banning Chestnut, it seems like Nathan’s did Impossible Foods a nice advertising favor by making this news and now everyone is reading about the product.

I could have typed this exact same comment because this exactly describes me too. I watched every episode while bored and didn’t even bother checking out the finale.

I’m going to have to look up how to pronounce the word now, huh? I didn’t expect any homework this early in the week (and this late in my life).

Animal viruses jumping to humans should also have special abilities being transferred. In this case, you get bird flu, you can fly. Virus from a bat? Night vision. From a monkey? Parkour! Mad cow? ...uh, extra nips?

You are right. I don’t disagree.

Tyson’s been too nice and friendly with Paul in the promos. I want Paul to poke the bear some more with his usual annoying trolling so that angry, crazy Mike shows up in the ring.

I agree. I rewatched Fury Road the other night. Usually, prequels tend to at least have tonal inconsistencies or a dialogue line or two that doesn’t match the original film, but Furiosa and Fury Road fit seamlessly.

This is the one prequel that can be watched before the original film and not noticing anything off.

I will always adore the Singles soundtrack, but that’s also because 90's grunge has a stranglehold on my early 90's teen brain.

So many great soundtrack standouts in that decade as mentioned in the comments. I’ll throw in some personal favorites: The Saint, Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, Reality Bites, Trainspotting, and

I already LOVE Fury Road, but that ending (and the end credits) made me want to rewatch the movie for the continuity high. And I don’t even like rewatching movies.

Same. I was 8 years old when I watched Temple in 1985 (movies took a much longer time to distribute int the 80s). It’s one of those movies that, if it catches you at the right age, you’ll absolutely love it — and I did and still do. My brother and I didn’t have Raiders either and this was our Indiana Jones movie. We

“Spielberg-ish” is a good description. This series came out during the pandemic when kids were mostly staying home and it was a right amount of scary and exciting for my then 11 year old daughter.

There are dark and (very) heavy moments, but it’s a good intro for kids who could handle it for that type of thing. My

It’s pretty much why I tapped out if the show. The “will they/won’t they” was tiring and I frankly didn’t care.

At a certain point, I stopped watching the show because that trope was annoying and formulaic, and, honestly, there are so many other shows out there that I could watch in my limited time.

That was his attempt to publicly apologize to her? He couldn’t even mention her name in the video.

If the show gets renewed, I hope the show runners have enough of a sense of humor to have a scene of him scarfing down some oreos.

I am sorry that I have only but one star to give.

Either way, Nicholas Hoult wins.

I’m on Bluesky and I find it underwhelming and rarely use it. That said, I think one big reason why Jack is turning on Bluesky is because the the app has become the choice for progressive intellectuals, artists, and pro-science users (i.e., not anti-vax). This must really annoy Jack and I’m all for it.

This movie is going to be a cult favorite years from now, isn’t it?

54 Minutes ???

One might think it would be a smart marketing move to show David Corenswet’s face in the trailer considering all the Superman news.
