Nissan: Make it look like the Tacoma but change it up just a little bit so it isnt an exact copy...

Me 7th Grader copying friends homework before class....

The second hand shame I got reading this caused me real physical discomfort, and I had to stop.

Will the last blogger out the door turn off the lights?

I don’t know what the train is based on, but the tram is on a stepvan chassis. Powerplant could be anything.

If it’s the fucking Changli I will burn this website to the ground

The thing is, it’s not a face lift, it’s a whole new generation, the first since 1979. It’s longer, wider and higher, it’s an all new chassis but they (very successfully) kept the look intact.

They had to shoehorn that ridiculous interior into a vehicle designed in the early 1970s. That’s the fundamental problem. They should have gone “lux chunky Defender” here; it would have made more sense because everyone buying one of these is doing it for the pricetag and “the look”.

The only way to defeat a German inspector: Technicalities.

In b4 all the dentists on Santa Cruz bikes also buy Santa Cruz trucks to carry them in.

Good point, but also look at it this way... If Nikola sells even one truck to someone who’d “never buy a GM product” then it’s a win. Beyond that, GM gains a captive customer for their EV tech and lets them do a whole bunch of marketing on their own dime. They get 11% of the company and a board member. Suppose Nikola

DadJokes, but I’m 97% sure that’s the rationale.

They could merge it into Cadillac pretty easily under the new naming scheme; just call it “Buiq.”

I lived in Detroit for 4 years, and although both Woodward and Gratiot were awesome, once I moved to LA, it completely blew Detroit out of the water. No one cruises sunset strip anymore, but seeing the cars cruising Angeles Crest on a weekend morning is a way cooler experience. Plus, everything is completely rust

I live 1/4 mile off Woodward in the heart of it. On every Friday or Saturday evening I’ll see several McLarens, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Ford GTs, clean MKIV Supras, R32 skylines, Highly modded tuner cars like STIs, WRXs, Evos, FRS/BRZ/86s, GTIs/Golf Rs, Focus ST/RSs, Fiesta STs, tons of M cars, AMG cars, Maseratis,

Yeah that interior is not great and it immediately stuck out to me that much of it looks lifted from the outgoing car, hence why it already looks old.

Star for using ‘its’ correctly.

God that base model is BORING looking.. Is it the most boring looking car for $40k?
