Yelp is terrible for recommendations of a lot of Chinese, Korean, Indian, and Japanese cuisine. Half the people there don’t know what they’re talking about, don’t know anything about that kind of food, and order the wrong food items

What? Uh....Real Chinese restaurants dont have anything like those chain restaurants. You can go into a good chinese restaurant and try to order chinese-american food like sesame chicken but...why would you do that when you can get much better food? If you’re looking for a decent chinese restaurant, a good indicator

Maybe you’ve had itimpad that isn’t good then. It usually has a lot creamier of a texture than regular scooped ice cream and they add lots of fruits to it, plus you can get some good flavours like thai iced tea

It’s labeled “fried ice cream” because that’s the direct translation from Thai. It has the word “fried” in it because the way you make it resembles stir frying a bunch of different things together

Usually in Thailand you’d put candies and lots of fruits with it and there are a lot of other different flavours that taste creamier than regular ice cream. It’s not a gimmick, it’s a dessert that’s been around for a bit

Are you talked about baked alaska as in the ice cream cake?

I find it weird that you’d think of i-tim-pad as a gimmicky even though it’s been a dessert in Thailand since 2009. Next thing you know, people will be thinking that halo-halo is the next “ice cream gimmick” even though it’s been around for a while.

I’m not an electric car fan, I don’t own one and I probably won’t be buying one anytime soon, I’m not sure where you got that assumption. Pardon me for not catching on the sarcasm, I’m not particularly good at it. I just thought the claim was odd

It can be argued that politicians are also misinformed when lobbyists are able to sway them, resulting in legislation that ends up being more harmful than if no legislation had been passed, such as the anti-Tesla laws in Michigan. Educating politicians is not always equivalent to giving them the right information to

Subsidies are a distortion of the free market and every American car manufacturer receives subsidies and protections

Technically “consumers” do pay taxes when they purchase something. It’s called a sales tax and I believe that they apply to cars just as they apply to most items.

Typically air pollution that you get in the city isn’t coming from ships though. Walking around in Beijing, no one actually assumes that container ships are causing the air pollution that an inland city has to deal with. The pollution often comes from manufacturing and coal plants near the city along with the cars.

You know you can charge an EV at home, right?

Spirit doesn’t belong on any list, the list of airlines that accept or don’t accept TSA precheck has nothing to do with the quality of the airlines. You have Spirit on the list that accepts precheck and Easyjet and Ryanair on the list that doesn’t. Both are low cost airlines. Yet you also have decent airlines in both

I don’t know if you can get them in America, but in Asia there are these waterproof coats that cover your entire body as well as your bike but still lets your head poke out so you can see stuff. Sometimes you can also get an umbrella holder on the bike as well. They might sell those things on Amazon or on Craigslist,

And have you flown ANA or Qatar? Two of the best airline companies in the world? As for British Airways I’d hardly say it’s potato ranked when the other list has Spirit and American.

ANA British Airways and Qatar Airways are potato-ranked? What do you ride on, a goddamn private jet? Or are you one of those people who genuinely enjoy flying United?

A hot spoon is probably not hot enough to denature proteins. The temperature it needs to be at in order to denature a protein would end up burning your skin.

Around 1.4 million Americans last year went abroad for medical care to places like India where quality is decently good and much cheaper than the US. Few Canadians actually go to the US for medical care because costs are so high, while the CDC estimates around 750,000 people Americans go abroad to get treated. The

You can also just turn it into fried rice. Rice that’s kind of dried is perfect for it.

Or if you’re making a new batch of rice, just dump the old rice into the rice cooker after your new rice has cooked and leave it in there to heat up. It’s as good as new
