There i a better way to do this. Like mainstream Peugeots do this. Smaller size steering wheel, and the cluster moved up. So you simply look over the top of the wheel to see the cluster.

And they didn’t even reject the stunt!  They just said “you need to have a pilot in the plane when it’s airborne”.  That is not an unreasonable requirement.
