Cool, I'll give it another go.

I haven't used Listen since recently after the code switch to this style. Have the skipping and fast-forward issues been resolved?

It doesn't even matter if I don't know the outcome of a show. I prefer watching it live because of the excitement of seeing it live and the anticipation of arrival. Perhaps it's a remnant of not being able to record shows. I have several shows that I'm able to watch on my computer but I'd much rather watch them on TV

Looks like Asus can come very close to Sager's gaming laptop price

Heh, it's crashing on my Gingerbreaded G1. Go nightlies :P

Anybody have experience with native-booting Linux on an HTC Dream (G1)? I've done the chroot method from inside Android but I want to run normal Linux drivers so I'm going to run SHR Linux. Just looking for suggestions or warnings during the installation.

Hm, I see. I never specifically looked for gaming laptops.

I use a physical keyboard with a password. Woo!

1) password, not gesture

PIN? Suckers don't wanna mess with my Android lock screen password.

Correction: I meant to say "Envy" rather than "Elitebook". It's the HP's Envy line that's good. Too late to edit my post.

Sager makes good laptops but they're too expensive. I haven't had any experience with MSI but I know of a few nice ones.

GitHub or SourceForge. I'm not sure which would be better for version handling.

Asus, Lenevo, and Acer make the best laptops. Toshiba and Sony are good too, Dell follows. HP has a high failure rate compared to other companies EXCEPT for the Elitebook which I hear is really nice.

I don't believe in future proofing. You don't need the parts now and they'll be a crapload cheaper by the time you need them. Upgrading piece by piece is a lot cheaper.

I wouldn't get an Asus Transformer. While I love the concept (open source everything, detachable keyboard) it's not powerful enough for HD. A Xoom can handle HD video pretty well.

iMacs use the standard 3.5 inch drive. Any 3.5" SSD will work.

Sweet, time to get some 0.6mm solder.

They're good ideas but all the ones that I've used absolutely suck. The sites that are designed the best have mostly normal scholarships listed. The sites that have scholarships like this have crappy navigation (like having only a search bar and no browsing area).

I hear people and counselors saying "there are scholarship for everything, just search for them". Sure there are scholarships for everything; the trouble is FINDING them. Google doesn't help because you need to know what you're looking for and scholarship matching sites never have the odd scholarships.
