@J: Download the file onto an SD card from the computer instead. Android's download manager isn't very reliable.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have an auto-checking GRUB list? I want to set up a large boot suite like Hiren's but with a simpler way to add features. The initial script would look for scripts in sub-directories for and add those names to the list.

Pretty good, I hope I remember to do them.

@wjbean: Google makes a profit from its own ads, that doesn't have anything to do with the profit of the site it's searching. If non-profit sites were at the back then you would never see any .org sites listed in your searches.

@cowboybebopfan: Yeah, since it's a traditional search engine you would find an answer more easily on a site like something listed in the article.

@tacotime: Wait a minute, I posted this in the wrong topic. Sorry man.

@drilon: I'm not sure what's worse, the question or the answer.

@tacotime: Yahoo and Google (Bing, Dogpile, Ask, etc) are traditional search engines, the sites listed here are designed for gathering specific information.

@wjbean: It takes me only seconds to find information on Google. You need to be able to judge webpages before clicking and be able to scan the page when it's open to make sure it's good information. Most people either fail at putting proper search words or they fully read and click every link down the list.

@Nitesh2: Oops, I read too fast. Derp.

This configuration setting doesn't exist in Minefield, the only thing I see is a boolean value named "network.online".

@AD: Just plain "UBCD".

@AD: There are several backup tools in Ultimate Boot CD. I used something in there to clone my harddrive once, I don't remember exactly what it was though.

@amcdonald: Ah, up to a 5.55mm is good. I wasn't expecting that much strength from a clipboard-sized plate.

@Kyonkochan: I find 4chan to be very useful for getting answers. You need to be accustomed to the board that you ask otherwise you'll get smacked with trolls and insults.

-Google everything first, check all sorts of forums and junk that gets linked

@Laogeodritt: Good tips. I believe that dictionary attacks with changes is called a hybrid-dictionary attack.

@Salax: Same here. I'm working out a few more passwords now so that I can have a more structured tiered system, the Gawker hack through me off a bit.

At that thickness it won't stop much, your office co-worker would be a better shield.
