@TheCrudMan: I always forget to read the Exif data.

@rootyb: yeah, there's an example of something that could be done with a front camera.

@SageofMusic: I don't know, I would use it mostly as a mirror. Facial recognition comes to mind though.

Why is the front camera always advertised as a "FaceTime" feature? Can't they think of anything else to do with a front facing camera?

I would like a fold down with all specs and details. Non-techy users could read the simpler layout while I gander at more precise description.

@bowei437: all devices should have a "cost per Ghz (or whatever unit)" on the label.

Songs are always in my head, I don't bother trying to un-stick them.

@archbishop: ah, so that's what it does. I thought that Command-Click seemed like they just selected a random combination to move background windows but I see that it serves a range of purposes.

The price sounds good but the functions are very undesirable to me. I would really like a nettop for the TV, but it needs to be something that can connect to an NAS and do regular computer things too.

Giz, your wishes for a camera/iPod have been granted.

That multi-touch interface is going to be amazing *rolls eyes*

@JakeWharton: I saw those yesterday but didn't pay much notice to them. Why did I do that? These are cool.

Heck yes. I want to buy a used Android device for use as a PMP. I could use wifi apps and, if it's SIM-based, use a prepaid SIM card for calls.

"Ok, we're making an e-reader ad. Whoever pays the most gets to be put on the largest screen."

Hurry up, Apple. I'm tired of seeing "what could Apple be up to?" posts and blogs all over the place.

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: I was thinking the same. Having those features on the iPod Touch would turn the iPhone into basically "an iPod Touch with a SIM card."

@FlameCell: that is sweet. Some links also led me to the Viliv P3 which also looks cool. Unfortunately neither are ready for consumers. If those sell for a reasonable price then I'll definitely get one.

Wouldn't an Android device with good media support serve the same purpose? All that's needed for that is some app coding.
