That’s a fairly common interviewing tactic. You get the individual talking about things they know little about and see how they respond. Burning a whole second interview on it is strange but if they had the time.

Every Pentastar owner owns most (by weight) of a Ferrari F160 motor!
Real OEM prices are all over the map though. You can’t trust them. Good for part numbers, that’s about it.
They make snow tires that size.
Sorry to educate the masses :-)
Intercooler size has is not free. When you increase charge air volume you induce lag, you can also cool the air too far and create water build up inside the intercooler which can cause catastrophic turbo/engine damage. VW just had a big problem with this.
There’s some very sound engineering behind their choices,…
Well looking at a product durability curve it’s substantially easier to survive 850 miles rather than 1,000 .
Something that’s controlled by ridiculous fancy electronics, and has two turbos to maintain?
854.8 mile loop, but sure.
I know the RHD V8 Mustangs have a small drop in power due to a necessary change in exhaust manifold design for the steering shaft. I could see that being a compromise in the V6.
I think in the F-150 it’s fine, there is plenty of space for charge air cooling. The motor actually looks hilariously tiny in the engine bay.
Remember the SAE tow ratings are done at Davis Dam under some pretty serious ambient conditions.
That they’ve not made an EB Super Duty (which account for ~25% of truck sales)…
People don’t shop for economy, they shop for price. Unless fuel jumps again it will stay that way.
Why would the V8 economy magically improve between generations?
They’re boring, they’re everywhere. They’re not special in anyway.
They’re also great cars, but so much of vehicle ownership is making a statement (if you don’t care you don’t drive a 40k+ Mustang)).
Yeah, no way in HELL Ford is purposely hurting their CAFE fuel economy.
I don’t think you understand how many millions are spent on pulling out tenths of a MPG.
It fits but there are some major cooling limitations. That’s part of the problem with the Continental 3.0 (based on the 2.7). They start to derate hard when pushed at all.
In the Mornings at the Rotunda exit on the way to the main Ford engineering campus Dearborn it’s literally only Mustangs and Focus STs.
After driving my W115 for a weekend, which is a veritable greenhouse, and jumping into my Fiesta, or God forbid my S-10 with a cap it’s horrendous.
The visibility is so good in the W115 I don’t miss the (factory) lack of a passenger mirror.
I suggest you listen to a little Trey Gowdy and shelf the learned helplessness.
The Gawker influence never truly leaves.
So they law does not matter, only who you like more?
