My e38 came with a Chinese tire on the right rear. The first day I drove it I thought I had an ABS problem.....

The Mirage is available in the US, cheaper, and lighter.

Why would I pick this over a Mirage?

They’re not particularly pretty, they’re not quick, they’re not prestigious. For the money you’d be better off with any of the German options or hell even a Cadillac of similar vintage.

It’s not special, that’s the problem.

This is why you need 3 or 4 motors, you’ll always have one ready to drop in and another two on the healing bench.

You need better tires. Try a set of Sport Cups, I think you’ll change your mind. Then warp your mind with a set of proper warm slicks.

I’ve got a bit of seat time with a newer 911 Turbo S, tires are the deciding factor if it’s fun or pure terror.

So 100% B.S.? That’s the part you like?

This build is nothing but hype garbage.

Anything 12-71 powered

This is America, it’s about time we put America and Americans first. All the power to get it done, all the stamina to see it though.

Plus who can resist that sirens song?

Exactly. I’m not crossing Africa I’m hitting local trails and riding across town for snacks/auto parts.

I’d rather have to slow down to 55 on the high altitude climbs than have an extra 50+ lbs in the mud/rocks/snow.

So you’ll have to slow down, big deal. Let me tell you a story about taking a NA OM617 across the continental divide....

That does not mean you’re not wearing out your pump faster. Running 2% biodiesel more than compensates for the sulphur reduction.

I tried to look up production numbers on armored E32 with no luck. Are you sure they produced them with the big six? What’s telling about the hood and grill?

Obviously, free to charge was always nothing more than a marketing ploy. You can’t seriously have believed Tesla would offer free charging forever? Secondly they’re selling vehicles faster than they’re install superchargers so the ratio of cars to superchargers is dropping. Without free charging, thus reduced SC

The E32 and E38 versions are the best 7 series ever produced. Maintenance is not difficult and suspension/drivetrain parts for the V8 versions are plentiful.

I think it’s fairly obvious we all know they offered the truck with two different engine options and the a manual and automatic option.

I did not state the T5 was the only transmission, my point was that that the T5 is the smoother, better shifting option than the later NV1500 put in the later trucks.

Where did I say it was the only transmission option?

That’s also complete BS.

We’ve known this for months. This is not new info.

The early 2.2 4 cylinders came with a real T5. That’s one slick little trans.
