The FiST is just a fiesta interior, so it just isn’t very good. It rattles right from the beginning, everything is crap plastic, the side skirts are literally stuck on with double sided tape which starts to separate with time, etc, etc.

Mechanically it’s not a bad car, but the build quality is really not great compared…

See, I’m opposite, I wish they had the 3 door FiST here, I totally would have bought that instead. I went to scotland and it was like the biggest thing on my “list of things to see”, and right out of the airport was one parked in the street. My dad thought I was nuts for taking pictures of a fiesta.

It looks like it might be a 3 piece front clip with the schlong disconnected from the fenders, so you may have the ability to buy shlong-less aftermarket paneling?

Because it’s a fiesta ST that theoretically might last over 100,000 miles. I would totally look hard at this for my next car, and I say this as a proud FiST owner. The car is great, but the build quality is just the worst.

If I could get the same sort of performance with 2 less doors in a lighter package with better…
