Also my L48 would be pretty offended that you called it a large lawn tractor. It weighs 7,750 lbs and could drive through your house without breaking a sweat- I actually bought it from a guy who used it for demo work.

Every backhoe i’ve rented in the last 10 years has had an HST- looking at kubota and JD’s sites, all of the L and M series have their HST. Even their R series articulated loaders seem to have an HST, though there don’t seem to be any pictures of the pedals so I can’t speak to the configuration.
