It’s not a groundbreaking revelation, but it’s good to see it confirmed. Also, you assumed correctly, but a lot of people actually chimed in defending the daughters because they believed their laughable “I had no idea!” act. When it comes to pretty people, the public is infinitely gullible.

As a neighbour to your North, I just can’t understand how everyone in the US  is armed to the teeth, but the likes of a Tom Cotton never catch a bullet.

Why is a private business obligated to give anyone a platform for anything? And I’m pretty sure apps aren’t required to vape, so literally no one is stopping you from vaping until your lungs implode.

Sprint is free to ban any phones from their network that they wish.

Because you and I are normal humans and not badly programmed cyborgs.

THANK YOU.

Yeah, this take is about as bad as when Jezebel tried to promote the idea that fall was the worst season.

Wal-Mart was Dean’s biggest customer. Then Wal-Mart started selling their own brand of milk.

I humbly submit tea with coconut cream. It’s the only thing I kept from stupid keto.

Yes, and she is the best. She’s quoted all the time about food and nutrition and debunks dubious studies condemning one thing or praising the health benefits of another.

I came here to say the same. I moved to Ireland 6 years ago, and now I can’t go a day without at least 3 cups of Barry’s and some milk. Sugar? No thanks. Don’t even need the biscuits. I can mess with goat’s milk or whatever; that seems ok. But if Big Dairy falls, my morning routine is really gonna suffer.

I find oat milk slightly less gross than the other options, at least in the morning. But yeah, there’s a reason why skimmed milk, specifically, is said to work best - you need a texture and consistency that’s very hard to imitate with non-dairy substitutes. Also, the sweet stevia-like aftertaste is just... blergh.

Agreed, I read a BBC article the other week about how the kids are drinking less tea and one of the reasons was legit ‘it tastes weird with non dairy milk’. Though imo that’s a reason to put off going vegan not a reason to stop drinking English Breakfast.

Very true! So many of our solutions for being more eco-sensitive sound great at first but aren’t as great in the long run, or in mass quantities.

Powdered milk is really a last resort kind of thing. It’s very disgusting. It’s like the stuff you keep for the zombie apocalypse.

But unrelated to the food conglomerate - she’s Nestle, not Nestlé.

She’s quite famous.

Your essay makes me uncomfortable. I honestly don't know how to help or be an ally. I work with kids in the family court system, either through abuse/neglect or juvenile delinquency/incorrigability. I want to fight for these kids, the majority of whom are POC. How do we do that without becoming a "good white person"?

Would you have said the same thing to the white Mississippi freedom riders? They were good white people, too, and they paid the ultimate price for their decision to stand up for justice. Or the straight folk who mourned the death of Matthew Shepard? Or the men who fight for equal pay for women? Or the able-bodied
