I hate to post another “ as a black guy” post. But yes, do it, put it in there and let people see the reality(or virtual reality) that were the horrors of slavery. This could help build a real dialogue about discussing it because there are people in power who would like to see it thrown under the rug of time. I’d like

Twitter isn’t called “raid” and people still use it to harass others. If you really think the name is the reason...then damn are you naive in regards of the humanity.

Management’s continued refusal to devote the necessary resources to fixing Kinja means I can’t reply to someone in the grays, but to @tical2399, who said:

It’s very, very, very, very, very, VERY strange to me that Netherrealm specifically cast the OG Justice League actors for the game...and the team behind the animated adaptation of the comic adaptation of the game decided to recast literally everyone for...reasons?

Somebody hasn’t seen The Suicide Squad yet. Or has no taste.

Is the story kneecapped? If this is anything like Yakuza it’s hard to imagine huge threads left open between games.

Weird choice of combat animations; putting so much detail into the attack animations, and not a single frame of animation into “getting hit”. Makes combat feel oddly weightless.

I just watched this since I felt like I needed some of the Wachowski mad vision in my head. It’s so cheesy but does a great job of translating the almost cut out paper layering that is so reminiscent of anime though there are also a lot of shots that are plucked straight out of comics/manga frames too.

If there’s an NDA and you agree to it, you should probably comply with the terms. If you don’t and it results in you being banned from using their product (if outlined in the terms), then that’s on you. What’s the big deal here?

The fact that there is an NDA in place should be enough to tell people not to share the gameplay. Not being able to play the full game on release seems a pretty light sanction for breaking NDA.

It’s a classic battle royale design choice, one that’s meant to ramp you up to speed, familiarize you with the game’s core mechanics, and maybe even offer a nice if artificial confidence boost”

I agree with his sentiment but I also hope Capcom bans him over this because the pro tour would be a lot more enjoyable to watch without his constant whining and excuses for every loss he has. Dude isn’t playing a villain, he’s a straight up asshole.

Is it really that petty to think that someone might not play a console because their controllers keep breaking?

Comparing how people you met briefly on a trip to a foreign country to how you behave with close friends/family at home is comparing apple pie to a strand of pearls. Pretending that this gives you any insight as to how Americans act with the people in their lives - which varies widely, as it does anywhere - is

That’s quite a reach. Sports team owners don’t pay players out of their own bank accounts. Sports teams are businesses. They bring in income, and they spend it. The point of a salary cap is to make sure that the sport can’t be dominated by a small number of teams that have massive, nation-wide fanbases. Without a cap,

Except it wasn’t their property to claim and there was no claim to be made. It is 100% legal and the lawyers know this. No protected code was distributed and it’s been established multiple times in court you can mod what you purchase as long as it doesn’t interfere or damage the original IP holder. Like, say, modding

Yeah I can see at a glance how different the Local Japanese Market is from the International Market for these sorts of games.

“So, hopefully this one will be a little more than little plastic people falling over.”

That happened with another game recently. A game whose name is failing me now, but something super recent. And when people were complaining about how X game wasn’t like Y game of the same genre, it was like, dude, it wasn’t going for that. It was never going to be that. Stop comparing them.

Seems like the same case

A living, breathing city with proper AI and some NPCs with routines (the most realistic city in gaming according to them), a proper cop system, decisions that matter (for the sake of spoilers, that character death, you know the one, they said it was only one of multiple ways that could go down, which was a lie), they
