I don’t think they’re expecting to come in and start rivalling Sony and Nintendo’s numbers in Japan any time soon, but it’s entirely possible for them to actually make it a market where they actually have a presence, compared to their current complete lack of it. Not that it would be easy, but it’s possible, and worth

Nah, Only next gen games HAVE to be on the SSDs. Previous gen games will benefit from faster loading times if they’re installed to the SSD, however they will still run from an external hard drive.

Yeah, so far they’ve only mentioned that Old School external drives would allow you to run Xbox One/PS4 games on your next gen console. It wasn’t clear whether you’d have to do any sort of reformatting on the drive, or redownload the games in a “next gen code base” sort of format. Now I can’t say many of us are too

That is in part true, but I think the major difference between games and films/tv shows are the length and re-playability of content. Netflixs needs constant content. And lots of it.

It’s hard to say for sure. Those quotes don’t really commit one way or the other.

I mean to be fair, they’ve been releasing most of their PC games on steam lately. So on that front at least they’re not trying to move everything in house.

Ori was vastly improved on Xbox after launch as well, so I wouldn’t be surprised if those fixes and optimisation are what made the Switch version possible!

For now it’s mostly bluetooth controller’s and connected controllers like the razer kishi. There are a couple games with touch controls , but I imagine more will impliment those over time.

I can see what you mean about the shard system, but I think the idea was to make it so you had more choice over your style of Ori. In the first one, you pretty much had to pick a skill tree, and nearly everyone chose the blue one for triple jump. Now, I've already got triple jump only a few hours in, so can work

Iinteresting you’ve been having so many bugs. I hope it’s not a sign of things to come, but about 6 hours in (and loving it so far) and I’ve yet to have anything more than the odd frame rate stutter, that I think are due to region changes taxing the HD anyway. Keep us updated on if things end up improving!

To be fair to MS, I don’t think this was really intended to be all that important an event for them. From what I’ve seen of them they’re more like a talk show format than reveal events. Plus I get the feeling all parties are holding back alot of their heavy hitting news for next E3 for the lead in to the new console

No he didn't need to. But he wanted to.

There is an auto pilot on the ship for the record. And getting wrecked by the tornados at first is part or the fun :p theres a way to deal with then once you learn it. Like everything in that game things aren't just given to you

The game doesn’t need you to give it more time. It needs the right mindset. It is fundementslly an exploration and discovery game. There’s nothing wrong with that not really being something you can get into. But as someone who found it easily one of the most rewarding games I’d played in a long long time, I would
