It bothers me too and it’s one of the reasons SSA has a backlog of disability appeals. The vast majority of those appealing are not disabled and they are holding up the benefits of legitimate claimants with proper appeals.

I do not know if this is woman is guilty, but I will say in my professional experience, people do not think claiming disability is fraud even if they are not disabled.
