You’re right in it being a complicated scene. The girl projects this image and facade to the world that she’s a super confident and hypersexual, but in all actuality she is a virgin and incredibly insecure. She welcomes Spacey’s (Lester’s) advances after a fight with her friend. As he’s undressing her she tells him

Indeed.

I didn’t imply or use the word rape.

Spacey alleges he doesn’t remember, correct?Rapp reports Spacey lied down on top of him after picking him up and carrying him.

They’re calling for extras right now. Messages coming in my Facebook looking for extras aged 18 - 24.

Did anyone see American Beauty? Spacey is actually like his charater in that film. He goes after his daughter’s high school friend. He is like his character in real life... only that character stopped himself midway before he went through with it.

“Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.”

I’m so glad I had the opportunity to watch this show as a kid. I know it helped to shape my worldview. I just thought of it as entertainment, but it was educational. Also a great portrait of college life for an 11 year old whose parents didn’t attend and who otherwise would know little to nothing of what college was.

I think a possible compromise would be to approach her at the end of her workout, maybe when you see indications that she’s finished her routine.

[Sarcasm]

I only knew him online... he belonged to this politics discussion board I used to visit. A famous European pro soccer player had raped a girl who’d passed out (I think the shed been drugged) and so it followed with that discussion. I remember thinking..... “I think I’m talking to a rapist”..... gross.

Yeah, his defensiveness gave me that impression exactly.

“I also think it would be better of black women stood on their own to show they don’t need the support of men to make their point.”

#2 I’d agree black women more than likely make up the majority of his fan base, but also imagine he’s got a strong enough male customer base to make a difference. If I had to guess, at least 30% tickets and songs purchased by men.????

I mentioned before.... I’m really happy to see Viceland’s show, “The Therapist”... where rappers, recording artists, musicians open up and become very transparent about their past, their struggles, their mental health. I hope it starts to take away the pressure people feel to seem strong or hard and make it ok to seek

I encountered this awful mentality before. I was having a discussion with this guy who said women should be flattered when they wake up after passing out to find that an attractive guy had sex/(**raped**) them while they were passed out... so long as he’s attractive....

This is true, but why just black women? Can’t men also stop buying his music, going to his concerts?

I have a feeling that many presidents have gotten away with this stuff, but knew to try to keep it hidden and contained. Now that Bush senior is senile, he lost the common sense and just put it out in the open. Makes you wonder if he did this stuff when he was younger.

My middle school took us to see Carson speak about surgeries in ‘94. I was impressed. I still remember the images of conjoined twins shot up onto the giant screen. I was always so proud to have that man in Baltimore. My friend took her baby to see him 6 or so years ago.

Is this the dude that did all the TV interviews saying that his brother was a normal guy up until then?
