Her stylist has not been kind to her in the last few years. Yikes.

Every day is Halloween in this White House. Horrible, capering demons preying upon our every fear.

Sure she’s already got the orders signed.

I think something like this would have been far more appropriate:

Maybe she was saying “Mission accomplished” to him.

Been waiting for this conversation. When she walked out I said “What the hell is she wearing?” Aside from the fact that it was 75 degrees and humid, did no one around her tell her it might not be the best look for the evening? Or do they hate her that much? Do you think Putin was watching and laughing? So many

And the wrinkled flags behind her!

She’s modeling the camp guard uniform for the next four years if Der Drumpenfuhrer wins in November.

Thank you. I’m absolutely horrified at the amount of positive press she has received for her speech. Any shred of basic decency present in the words was immediately undone by her claims that her husband is helping people and actually cares about them. At least call it what it is - a speech that, unlike the rest of the

Jesus, Megan, what kind of monster are you to inflict that header image on us in the morning? It’s already hard enough to get up and face the fucking day.

Clearly, we need to clarify what the word “mistake” means.

when is the right time and where is the right place to have an opinion that isn’t 100% hero worship?

Literally no one here has misunderstood that you’re voting for him, what I’m here to say is the rest of us don’t really give a shit how you feel about it. There’s way more important things at stake than your feelings.

Ugh, this is the problem. It’s either hero worship or circular firing squad. No inbetween whatsoever.

Why can’t Dems/leftists/progressives/liberals just get behind the goddam candidates that end up getting selected and run with it? Why can’t they then hold the candidates accountable if and when they reach office?

Exactly. Politics is a job. It’s great when an inspiring candidate comes along that grabs the public’s imagination. But even they get stuck doing the job.

There is a damn good reason people are concerned by the response.

People - and good politicians - evolve.

I agree that criticism of politicians is necessary and I know I sat back after Obama was elected bc I thought “this guy’s got it” — and then drones, deportations, etc. etc. (I do think he was in a uniquely challenging space, but still was not the progressive dreamboat that I imagined).

So who will we ever be allowed to be excited about? These articles are not being tempered with the reality of the caliber of politicians in this country. Barack Obama’s record is mixed but it doesn’t make his candidacy/presidency less historic or less exciting. Abraham Lincoln was an abolitionist but he didn’t think

I’m gonna need to hear the audio on that to be convinced she didn’t say “lily white asses.”
