I saw a good suggestion to wait a month or so to have your local Apple Store do the replacement, since it’s a “while you wait” prospect, but only if they have the batteries in stock, and there’s likely to be a rush at the beginning of the year.

It seems inevitable to me that either a single universal standard will win out (buh-bye, Betamax!) or there will be a multi-format cross compatibility developed. The manufacturers each want a monopoly, of course, but consumers will make compatibility win out.

Consider some garam masala, cardamon, or five-spice powder. Either as a main flavor, or as a small hint of “Hmm, what is that flavor” in them.

I’d recommend not only showing them the outlets (especially which ones are and aren’t switched - it’s a bitch to think you’re charging your phone when the outlet goes out along with the lights - but also to have at least one USB port or adapter handy for charging things.

While it’s not specifically about mold - the advice already given is pretty solid - another consideration that may apply to old or improperly stored leather is that it can get surface cracks and discoloration on worn areas that affect the look and color.
