I am having uncontrollable giggles due to this comment

This is correct! Also, virtually none of us are teens or have been for two decades! But ... if we had lawns, we wouldn’t tell young people to get off them!

It’s true that some ethnic groups are taller than others on average, but the average American woman is only 5'4" and we manage to produce an absolute shitton of homegrown stringbeans to walk our runways. Because, even if Japanese girls are shorter on average than, say, Dutch or Ethiopian young ladies, one doesn’t need

Young Mr. Bridges is so inspirational and stylish. A lot of fashion people come and go, but sometimes you just know when you are looking at someone who is a very special talent and in it for the long haul. He is also as cute as a button. :) All the love and luck to you Moe.

girl, take a fucking xanax already

(I work with marketing people all day, I rag on them out of love. Also they make it very easy :p)

now she is claiming you work in marketing! them’s fightin words

You know ... you could have just come back and elaborated on your original comment and people would have listened. Raging back instead at those rather mildly questioning your meaning with choice words like (and I quote) “stupid,” “tool,” “did you read?” and “go fuck yourself” really makes you seem like, shall we say,

My biggest question is what kind of fuckery were these assholes raised in when they all have mothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, girlfriends, wives, and tons of other women in their lives?

I think the move to VH1 must have been part of the reason Rita was hired. The whole “You’re a model, but a brand, but a boss!” crap the show trotted out this season—ANTM is no longer looking for actual fashion models (if the show ever truly was, with all of the 25-year-old contestants, but you know what I mean). Now

OH MY GOD Tyra is insane

bless you

I sometimes lurk the ANTM reddit and all those peeps want Ashley Graham to take over for Rita on the reboot, because at least Ashley has legit fashion cred and knows what she is talking about. Rita Ora is just embarrassingly bad.

Mercedes did so well for herself, too. I recall people mocking her on some forum for winding up in a Chili’s commercial, e.g. “oh how the mighty have fallen,” but that Chili’s commercial ran eleventy billion times an hour and Mercedes looked adorable in it, per usual, and this single commercial probably paid for her

Dani Evans won, and she’s far and away my favorite winner and still so amazing (she just walked for Pyer Moss this NYFW! go Dani!), but honestly Cycle 6 was the pinnacle of ANTM, as far as I am concerned. Aside from Dani and Jade, it featured the much-beloved Joanie, the fabulous Nnenna and Furonda, plus Mollie Sue

Ha ha, I love her performance in that commercial—when the judges called it “too drag,” I was like, Look where you people ARE right now. “Too drag,” please!

I’m a vain bitch, so I’m not going to ding anyone for wanting to lose weight purely to look better. But so many weight-loss/diet/surgery ads routinely mention the jealousy of other women, and even one’s friends, as a motivation for weight loss, which:

Never did I imagine one day finding myself so utterly offended on behalf of Téa Leoni.

MY QUEEN

lol I could say the same thing about you, bub
