Can’t disagree with you there, although Rob is sort of the black sheep of the Kardashian family ... In that particular dynasty (*hork*) it seems like the most superior heir would be the one with the most money. So, Kim?

Seriously! I’m a doc junkie and I’m often one of the only people sitting in the theater watching one (not that I am complaining; this is how you get to chat with Damon Dash’s lovely family at a Saturday matinee of Fresh Dressed). Documentaries are so often a labor of love and have very little funding for promotion

I feel like it’s a bit uncharitable to call An Open Secret a bomb even if yes, technically it was a total box office failure, but how many screens did it even open on? And how much money was available for any type of promotion? And how many people go to see documentaries in the theater in the first place, especially

When the pregnancy was first announced and Jez posted about it, someone legitimately, for real, commented about how BC had “won” (won what? against who? huh?) or some shit b/c she landed the “Kardashian heir.”

That’s a very astute assessment. I just came here to call her an asshole.

I don’t know what you are replying to

We are not talking about nepotism in regard to modeling opportunities; don’t change the subject.

And mere hours after they posted the Elijah Wood story. Total cognitive dissonance.

Anjelica Huston, Ford model, muse to Richard Avedon, a “hatchet face”? You’re actually suggesting that Huston’s disdain of Polanski’s victim was not due to her own experiences with terrible men, but just plain ol’ jealousy? Keep it classy!

It’s very smug to tell someone to “calm down” simply because they pointed out that you namechecked two of the most obvious Hollywood sex offenders (and Jack Nicholson, for some baffling reason) while overlooking many more. Eileen made a good point. Why so defensive? This isn’t about you.

Oh right, “model pretty” is a whole different thing. But we’re talking about the New York Post here. If you are a woman who is under 50 and sentient, they will do their damnedest to punch up your hotness, no matter how dubious. For example, even the woman in this story merits an “attractive”:

aw, that’s mean. She really was incredibly pretty before the embezzlement and the Dominos. Those eyebrows are tragic, and I can’t abide stealing from your employees, but she could still pull herself back together ... in prison.

It’s weird too because in the first Jezebel piece about this ... company, I guess, Yogasundram said “to avoid continuing this extremely stressful and anxiety inducing conversation [with a ShopJeen vendor] over $800, I am going to call my dad whom I barely speak to and ask to borrow it.” So does she barely speak to her

Explaining to listeners that he “wasn’t particularly happy” with the show’s most recent season

rude

Has anyone I’ve written about yet stood under 5'10, besides Kim Kardashian?

Well, OK. But it’s me talking about what Jennifer Saginor wrote, not you, so you’re off the hook. ;)

It’s not alleged. Mark Saginor was Hef’s doctor and Jennifer’s account is firsthand eyewitness. And I’m sure everything she said was thoroughly vetted by legal at HarperCollins.

Nice find. Dr. Mark Saginor’s daughter Jennifer wrote a book about growing up in the Playboy Mansion; it’s pretty good.

I don’t think it’s condescending, exactly, but it is weird to write a comment as if Sinead can hear you.
