Man, it’s a shame this was hot rodded. I would have loved to see this in all its original glory. I love me a good ol hot rod but something like this is just a damn shame.

I got to the part where you said you are going to go the cheapest route on the welding and I would advise against that just based on the fact that once you have this skill you are going to open up a ton of other stuff you’ve been wanting to do, so I suggest doing it right. counterpoint: the regulations aren’t being drawn up with stuff like a hellcat in mind at all. they’re being drawn up to cover the 99.99% of cars that aren’t hellcats and the modern muscle cars are just going to be collateral damage. look around in a parking lot. there are an awful lot of V8 powered trucks.

No specific legislation is needed to address this, an extremely minor problem that resolves itself with minimal impact on anyone worth preserving.

I hope Mahindra sells a separate fender kit that you can just snap/bolt into place and then it’ll look pretty much like the first redesign.

Every slide show, I resize the window to half of my screen and refresh.  Then it’s just a scroll.  It’s not something we should have to do, but at least (for now) it helps the user experience.
